Sherry (Xiaoyun) Liang

Sherry joined AICon lab in Spring 2021 as a Ph.D. student. She received her Bachelor's degree in Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 2018, and her Master's degree in Architectural Engineering (focus on mechanical systems) from Pennsylvania State University in 2020. She is passionate about construction robotics applications that help address challenges such as labor shortage, and safety and productivity issues in construction. Her current research focuses on safe and efficient human-robot collaboration in construction.

Usman Rasheed

Usman joined AICon lab in Fall 2022 as a Ph.D. student. He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Pakistan in 2015, and his master's degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, South Korea in 2019. He is passionate to make human-robot interaction more efficient to increase productivity in the construction industry. Currently, he is working on human-robot interfaces for robot teleoperation.

Mohsen Navazani

Mohsen joined AICon lab in the Fall of 2023 as a Ph.D. student. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Iran in 2018, and his master's degree in Computer Engineering (focus on SLAM and AR) from the Shahid Behesti University, Iran in 2022. He is passionate about making robots more efficient to increase productivity in the construction industry. Currently, he is working on deep learning methods for robot automation.
